Elevator Extensions
Winter Construction Work Carried on Successfully
by Messrs. Bready, Love & Tyson
That elevator work can be successfully carried
out in Manitoba during the winter months, speaks
well for the climate of the province, as well
as for the enterprise of the firm undertaking
the task. Wednesday evening Messrs. Bready
Love & Tyson completed an elevator at Crandell,
and two weeks ago one at Miniota, both these
points being on the Great Northwest Central railway
extension, west of Hamiota. The funding
of these buildings means that the firm has built
nine elevators in the province since last fall
at a cost of $45,000 each, and with a total capacity
225,000 bushels. Five are on the ?elmont extension
of the Northern Pacific, and four on the G.N.W.C.R.
From appearances the firm of Bready, Love & Tyson
is the only one carrying on this work during the
winter months, and they are doing so in order
to clear the way for even more extensive and active
work this spring and summer.
