There is a special need among the Canadian soldiers for hankerchiefs. The Military authorities request that all hankechiefs be of khaki. They have made arrangements in Winnipeg for the purchase of these at 85c per dozen. Hence our request for cash. What is a dozen hankerchiefs from those at home enjoying peace and comfort, compared to what your fellow Canadians at the front are giving, in risking their lives and limbs amongst all kinds of dangers and discomforts? Remeber, the very fact that he is there suffering, as he surely suffers, makes it possible for you to remain here.
Show your appreciation in a tangible way.
Don't forget that the Contributions in to be in Cash
A Ten cent tea will be served.
