Mrs. Ethel Wilson
1885? - February 04, 1950
We regret to report the death of Mrs. Ethel Wilson which occurred in
Hamiota hospital on Saturday morning last. The funeral took place on
Sunday afternoon at Lenore,
Mrs. Wilson, 65, was born at Kincardine, Ont. and lived there Until she
came to Lenore in 1897 and lived there until 6 years ago when she came to
Crandall to take care of the late Mrs. Coburn.
Her pleasing personality and musical ability and willingness to help at
all times will long be remembered.
Her husband passed away in 1939, and a daughter, Mrs. H. Lorimer, of Pope.
The funeral service was conducted by Rev. W. Adams in Lenore United
church with burial being made in Breadalbane cemetery. The pallbearers
were: G. McWhirter, J. Stewart, W. Wood, W. Drydren, W. Deerdon,
Gordon Wood.
Surviving is a son, William, and three sisters, Mrs. G. Bray, Hamiota;
Mrs. G. Moyer and Miss M. Manson of Tilston. There are five grandchildren.
