Mrs. E.J. Webber (nee Elsie Tucker)

1888 - June 28, 1947

Many neighbours and friends attended the funeral services on Monday, June 30, in the United church, and conducted by Rev. J. M. Wilson, for a beloved lady, Mrs. E.J. Webber, who departed from this life suddenly on Saturday, June 28.

Mrs. Webber (nee Elsie Tucker) was born in 1888 at Bridgewater, Somerset,Eng., and came to Manitoba in 1912.

Her marriage to Mr. Webber took place on May 27, 1912. They farmed at Shoal Lake and Decker before coming to Crandall.

Burial was made in Crandall cemetery, the pallbearers being J McGhee, G. Doupe, W. Campbell, E. Hazelwood, W. Kirk, S. Lewis.

Besides her husband, surviving are three daughters, (Hazel)Mrs. Ray Lamport; (Joan) Mrs. J.Harman, Melita; Muriel, at home; two sons, Norman and Reginald,Crandall; three brothers, two in England and one in Vancouver, and a sister in England. There are eight grandchildren.
