George Paddfield
February 17, 1922 - July 13, 1944
Driver George Paddfield was killed in action in July, after serving in
France for three days with the Canadian forces, according to word received
by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Padfield, of Crandall, Man.
Born in Crandall, 22 years ago, he received army training at Winnipeg and
Red Deer prior to going overseas in May, 1942.
Besides his parents he is survived by his wife and three year old daughter,
both of Winnipeg; a brother William, of Crandall, and five sisters,
Mrs. G. Higgins, of Decker; Mrs. Eric Wilson, Mrs. Ed. Lewis, Elsie and
Aleta, all of Crandall.
