ANDREW — Louise entered into rest at Hamiota on Friday, December 19th, 1986 in her 86th year. She was the youngest daughter of Katherine and Fred Venables of Hamiota. After attending school at Chumah and Crandall she graduated as an RN from the Winnipeg General Hospital. In 1930 she married Alfred Edward Andrew of Chumah and resided on the Andrew farm until retiring to Hamiota in 1966. She was active in the community, the church and Eastern Star. She was a life member of the Hamiota Hospital Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband Fred in 1961, two sisters, Edith Venables and Katherine Kirk and one brother, Dr. Alex Venables. She is survived by her children, Ted and wife Lois of Regina, Marguerite and husband Doug Crandle of Brandon, Harry and wife Marlene of Hamiota as well as her four cherished grandchildren, Ronald, Donald, Carmen and Ross Andrew. Funeral service was held in Hamiota United Church on December 22nd, 1986 with Rev. Jack Ballantine-Dickson officiating. Interment was in the family plot in the Hamiota Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ronald Andrew, Donald Kirk, Alex Kirk, Kieth Kirk, Grant Hyndman and Charlie Lewis.
