Louise Hyndman (nee Kirk)
1926 - October 29, 1994
Louise Hyndman (nee Kirk),
wife of Grant Hyndman died at Hamiota on Oct. 29, 1994. She is survived
by her husband of 47 years, daughter Marilee (Shayne) Minion of
Winterburn, Alta. and son Craig (Vonda) Hyndman of Regina, Sask.,
as well as three grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents
Joseph and Katherine Kirk and a brother James. She is survived by two
brothers: Alex (Nora) Kirk, Donald (Viola) Kirk and sister Mae (Harvey)
Lints all of Hamiota. She took all of her schooling at Hamiota, attended
Teacher Training in Winnipeg and later taught at Killarney, Man.,
The Pas and Hamiota Junior High. After her children became of school
age she taught at Decker and Crandall.
Louise was a faithful member of
Crandall United Church and choir and at her death held the position of
Clerk of the Session. She was also a long time member of Crandall Women's
Institute. At the request of the deceased, cremation has taken place.
Also at Louise's request, a graveside service was held at Crandall
Cemetery on Nov. 1st, 1994, with Pastor At Rempel officiating.
The family has requested no flowers, but if friends so desire, donations can
be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 42 McTavish Ave. E, Brandon, Man.,
R7A 2B2.
