Marjorie Jean O'Connor (nee Mitchell)
November 28, 1981
Died November 28, 1981, at the age of sixty-four, at which time she was
holding the office of secretary of Crandall W.I., a position she filled
for twenty-two consecutive years.
Marj first became a member of the Women's Institute in 1938 when she
joined Arrow River W.I. serving as a song leader and secretary until
1957 when she joined Crandall W.I. where she has been a member for
twenty- three years.
She will long be remembered in the community for her musical ability,
her keen sense of humour, and her deep concern for others -- especially
young people.
