Mary Edna Ferris (nee Andrew)

Mary Edna Ferris entered into rest May 16, 1981 at Hamiota District
Hospital in her 89th year.
Funeral service was held in Crandall United Church May 19th, 1981
at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Tom Delgaty of Oak River officiating.
Pallbearers were Chas. Lewis, Lorne Dale, Rodney Lewis, Harvey Kirk,
Harry Andrew, Brian Johnston.
Honourary pallbearers were Ebner Houck, Newton Smith, Frank Preston,
Wm. Pollock, Bert Lawrence.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her three daughters, Laura,
Mrs. Matt McLaen, Hamiota; Luella, Mrs. Ed Cyre, Winnipeg; Rena,
Mrs. Wm. Hume, Fort McMurray, Alberta; her sister, Mrs. Minnie Scoular,
Red Deer, Alberta; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alexander in 1958, 1 granddaughter,
Bonnie, one son David, February 1981.
Mrs. Ferris was one of the remaining pioneers of the community being
born and raised on the same farm from which she lived all her life.

Memorial Fund.
Interment in Hamiota Cemetery with Campbell's Funeral Home in charge
of arrangements.
