Rosemary Higgins (nee McPhaden)
March 23, 1945 - June 29, 2010
HIGGINS: Rosemary was born in Hamiota to Betty and Cedric McPhaden
on March 23, 1945. We announce her sudden passing of a heart attack
on June 29, 2010 one day after her 41st Anniversary to her husband
Bill. Bill and Rosemary lived all their married life around Crandall.
Rosemary enjoyed selling Regal and Amway products and watching home
movies and hand embroidery work, which she gave to all.
Rosemary is
survived by her husband Bill of Crandall; brothers-in-law Edgar (Phyllis)
of Minnedosa, John (Linda) of Brandon, Mel (Wendy) of Souris,
Neil (Joan) of Calgary, AB; her father Cedric of Hamiota; brothers
Rodrick of Hamiota, Ian (Beth) of Hamiota, Arnold (Bridgette) of Virden;
sister Dianne of Brandon; aunt Margaret of Rapid City and numerous nieces
and nephews. Rosemary was predeceased by her mother Betty and
sister-in-law Gloria and her parents-in-law Gordon and Sarah.
A graveside service was held at Crandall on July 3, 2010 at 4:30 p.m.
with Campbell Funeral Service and Barbara Rediker officiating with
Edgar Higgins soloist with "The Roll is Called Up Yonder".
A family lunch was served outside at Bill's house. Donations in memory may
be sent to the Hamiota Food Bank.
