Ralph Lee
aged 88 - March 22, 1944
A pioneer of the Crandall district passed away at the home of his
step-daughter, Mrs. M. Clark 98 Chestnut St. Winnipeg Wednesdqy, March 22,
in the person of Ralph Lee, in his 88th year.
Mr. Lee came to the district in 1895 and took up farming two miles north
of Crandall, and with the help of his wife and large family, the venture
was a success.
Mrs. Lee passed away in 1920, and Mr. Lee went to Winnipeg to reside
shortly after.
The funeral was held on Friday afternoon last from the Mordue funeral
home and was conducted by Rev R.E. Park of St Cuthbert's church, Winnipeg,
(formerly of Miniota) and burial was made in Elmwood cemetery.
Of the six sons and three daughters, one son Charles R. resides at
Crandall, and he attended his father's funeral.
