Thomas Wesley Doupe

1895 - April 29th, 1975


DECKER -- Funeral service was held in Decker United Church on May 1st, 1975 for Tommy Doupe, who passed away at Hamiota Hospital April 29th, in his 80th year.

Rev. Smith of Shoal Lake officiated. Interment Was in Crandall Cemetery. Campbell's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Tommy was born and educated at Crandall, served overseas during the War 1914-18 and upon his return took up farming in the Decker district. He remained active in mixed farming until his retirement in 1964. Since then he has resided in Decker.

Left to mourn -- his sister, Mabel Pearson of Cypress River; his brother Earl Of Claresholm, Alta., 21 nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers were: Dave Heise, Ken Smith, Gerald Decker, Bill Gammack, George Davis, Russell Sunley.

Ushers were: Ray Lints and Raymond Foxton.
