WHITE-TAILED DEER
(Odocoileus Virginianus)

Weight - to 120 kg
Habitat - south half of Saskatchewan
Food - shrubs and grasses
Reproduction - 1-2, in spring, after 6½ month pregnancy
Note - antlers shed every winter
          - spotted fawns weigh 3kg, at birth, lose their camouflage in September
