Located between Highway 2 and the Kingsway Ecological Zone, approximately south east of
4th Ave. SW.
Paashkwow means meadow in Michif, the language of the Métis people of Canada.
The park comprises two sections connected by a suspension bridge over the river.
The bridge was built in partnership with the Trans Canada Trail and 38 Combat Engineer Regiment,
officially opened in October 2016. The $400,000 project was designed by Wakamow Valley engineers.
The 1.7km Berkshire Hathaway Energy Canada Trail is located in the eastern section of the park.
