Pelican Island
Located north of the Waterfowl Display Ponds.
Built in the Spring of 2004 as part of the
Wascana Lake Enhancement Project.
Originally named Discovery Island, it was renamed Pelican Island in 2008.(?)
Future plans are for the island to be part of a elevated walkway system joining
the Science Centre area to the Display Ponds area.
