Spruce Island
Located west of Pine Island
Spruce Island was
built at as a depression project in 1931.
There is a small trail system and two commemorative benches on the island.
No large scale development is allowed as the island is intended to provide a
somewhat natural enviroment for wildlife and canoers.
During the winter of 2002/2003 the trails were cleared and enlarged.
The island was also made larger as part of the lake enhancement project
of 2003/2004.
