Located on two benches on Spruce Island.

On June 01, 2005, Trans Gas, Sask Energy and Wascana Centre employees planted the over 500 trees.

Dedicated to the memory of TransGas employee Gerald Oxby,
who always left the environment better than he found it.

Gerald created the TransGas tree nursery to beautify Saskatchewan.
In his honour, fellow TransGas employee volunteers planted
more than 800 of these trees on Pine and Spruce Islands.
