"The game of tennis has been a part of Regina's sporting and social life since the time of the townsite at the end
of the nineteenth century. Today, the city's tennis history culminates in the last remaining club of the original Regina
Tennis League.
The Civil Service Tennis Club was founded on March 22, 1915. In 1973, its name was changed to
The Lakeshore Tennis Club. 1990 marked the club's 75th anniversary."
